Meet Penny: Your Future Best Friend

Penny is a charming, 6-year-old black-and-white Pit Bull mix who is ready to find her forever home. Having spent over 100 days at the Lexington Humane Society, Penny is a "long-term resident" favorite who has proven herself to be an absolute "all-around gal."

She is currently thriving in a temporary foster home where she has shown everyone just how easy-going and well-mannered a companion she can be. Best of all, her adoption fee has been generously sponsored by GreenBox Home Services!

Social & Friendly: She gets along well with other dogs and has even started playing with her foster sibling. She greets life with a chill, happy attitude and makes friends easily.

Each month, Fritz will introduce a deserving pet from the Lexington Humane Society. For each pet that’s featured and led to an adoption, GreenBox will cover the adoption fee of all featured animals. By highlighting these animals, we hope to raise awareness about pet adoption and encourage families to consider adopting a furry friend.
