As part of our commitment to the community and our furry friends, we’re excited to introduce Fritz’s Furry Friends, a monthly initiative where our mascot, Fritz the Frog, will showcase a special pet up for adoption.

MEET CARLOS

Meet Carlos: Your Future Best Friend

Carlos is a handsome, 2-year-old brown brindle Pit Bull mix who is ready to find his forever home. Having spent over 100 days at the Lexington Humane Society, Carlos is a "long-term resident" favorite who has proven himself to be an absolute sweetheart.

Family-Oriented: Carlos is a fantastic fit for families, as he is known to do well with children of all ages.

Dog-Friendly: He is open to making dog friends! A quick meet-and-greet is required to ensure he and any potential canine siblings are a perfect match.

Adaptable: He is rated as a great fit for apartment living, proving he doesn't need a massive yard to be content. (Please note: Carlos requires a home without cats!)

The Perfect Age: At just 2 years old, Carlos is past the chaotic tiny-puppy phase, but still has plenty of fun, youthful energy for daily walks, play sessions, and cuddling on the couch.

How Fritz's Furry Friends Works:

Each month, Fritz will introduce a deserving pet from the Lexington Humane Society. For each pet that’s featured and led to an adoption, GreenBox will cover the adoption fee of all featured animals. By highlighting these animals, we hope to raise awareness about pet adoption and encourage families to consider adopting a furry friend.
